Kiedy młody poszukiwacz przygód Laios i jego drużyna zostają zaatakowani i dotkliwie pokonani przez smoka w głębi lochu, tracą wszystkie pieniądze i zapasy. Chcą jak najszybciej wrócić do akcji, ale jest tylko jeden problem: jeśli wyruszą bez jedzenia i grosza przy duszy, na pewno zjedzą wszystko po drodze! Laios wpada jednak na genialny pomysł: „Zjedzmy potwory!”. Śluzaki, bazyliszki, mimiki, a nawet smoki… żadne z nich nie jest bezpieczne przed apetytem tych łakomczuchów przemierzających lochy!
