W Oosu, miasteczku położonym na skraju Otchłani, mieszka mała sierota o imieniu Rico, która marzy o tym, by stać się tak wielką poszukiwaczką jaskiń, jak była jej matka, i rozwiązać wielką tajemnicę tej otchłani. Pewnego dnia, eksplorując mroczne głębiny, natrafia na małego chłopca, który okazuje się być robotem...
